SARE Our first stop. Sare is a lovely village next to the Spanish border in the French Basque Country. We choose Sare because we wanted to sense the experience of living in one of the 100 most beautiful towns of France. It was worthwhile. We were half way to San Sebastian, St Jean de Luz, Biarritz and border towns as Zugarramurdi and Urdax, besides we felt the tranquility and the real spirit of the region, the surroundings are spectacular. HONDARRIBIA Our second stop. We could afford a small luxury and we stayed at the Hotel Pampinot, in the old walled part of town.
